The following are the answers to some of the most frequently asked questions about organising your function at Duders.

Function Information

Pencil bookings will be held for 7 days.

A deposit of $1000.00 will confirm your date (you will receive a letter of confirmation and a receipt by post). This deposit will be subtracted from your final food account.

Final number of guests will be confirmed and paid for the day before the function. Liquor account paid on the night of the function.

If cancellation or postponement occurs, your deposit is non refundable unless your date has been re-booked with our minimum costs of food and liquor and minimum numbers as outlined in your deposit receipt.

ACCOUNT PAYMENT POLICY – We prefer account payments by cheque (personal or business). We can accept Visa and Mastercard only, a 2% charge is added to accounts paid with these cards.

All costs include GST.

Guest arrival to our venue is 5pm with finishing time at 12 midnight Friday and Saturday nights and 11pm on Sunday – Thursday nights

The room hire fee is as follows:
-Friday night (5pm-12pm): $300 (minimum 60 guests)
-Saturday night (5pm-12pm): $500 (minimum 80 guests)
-Sunday – Thursday (5pm-11pm): No Hire Fee (minimum 50 guests)

-Public holidays: $800 surcharge added to total cost of food and beverages.

Duders has a minimum beverage spend of $15pp for private functions

Band and DJ access to our venue is from 7.30 pm.

Some candle centre pieces and free standing candelabras are not suitable. Please discuss with management if you have any concerns.

Florist access to our venue after 3.30pm

All gifts are to be removed from Duders on the night, as these items are not covered by insurance.

We are fully licensed – however we do allow you to supply your own wine at a service cost of $20.00 per bottle. This cost is incorporated into the prices on our wine list.

Children’s Rate- After reaching our minimum numbers, children under 9 years of age are at half price

 

ADDITIONAL FUNCTION INFORMATION

Duders has chair covers for hire with white satin bow at a cost of $5 per chair.(We can also arrange coloured bows to match your colour scheme at an additional $3.50 per chair).

Table skirts $20 per table (or $7.00pp including chair cover, white satin bow and table skirt).

ONLY Duders chair covers are available to be used at our venue.

Our round wedding tables are 150cm in diameter. A typical head table of 8 people would be approximately 3.6m in length.

Cake stand and knife available.

Duders has plain and frosted glass tee light holders for hire @ $2.50 per holder incl candle.

In-House Dance Sound System – Duders has a Bose/Mackie dance sound system available for dancing, if you pay a room hire fee there is no charge, you can connect an iPod or laptop to our system. If no room hire fee is paid, the cost to hire the dance sound system is $100 for the night.
All Music Providers eg DJ’s and Bands MUST plug into our dance sound system as per your deposit receipt

Complimentary background music is available throughout your function

Complimentary cordless microphone is available for speeches

Complimentary printing of menus for set menu option only

Complimentary setup of pre-arranged table centrepieces and/or placecards – delivered to Duders the day before your function.
